Sept. 10—2008 seems to be closing in prolific fashion. With a year that has seen several successful releases from Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Plies, Coldplay, Nas, Snoop Dogg, Mariah Carey and a host of others, the last quarter of the year features some of the biggest names in music all slated to release albums.
T.I. will release his sixth album, Paper Trail, on September 30. The record will showcase the smash hit, “Whatever You Like”, and will feature guest appearances from The-Dream, Rihanna, Usher, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and a slew of others. The Bankhead ambassador has said that this album will show him in a more retrospective light and how he has “learned from his mistakes”.
One half of the legendary group Outkast, Big Boi, will release his second solo disc in October entitled Sir Luscious Left Foot which features his collaboration with hip-hop legend, Mary J. Blige. Not to worry Outkast fans, Big Boi promises another Outkast record sometime in 2009…after Andre finishes his solo album.
