The "Sound Off" blog through BET.com reports that Kanye West will name his new album "808's and Heartbreak". The release date is tentatively scheduled for December 16th. Originally reported by Young Legend via OnSmash.com, Amazon.com and the retail chain Target have already started to allow customers to pre-order the album.
With songs like "Love Lockdown", which debuted at the MTV Video Music Awards 2008 earlier this week, the album is said to mainly consist of sung and Auto-Tune vocals. The recent passing of his mother and the speculated end of his engagement are said to be the subject matter of the album.
