Oct. 7--Despite having his album find its way to the internet two weeks prior to its release date, the self-proclaimed "King of the South", T.I., has seen his album reach gold status in a week. According to reports, his sixth studio album, Paper Trail, managed to sell 577,673 copies in its first week in stores, topping his 2006 release, KING.
Fueled by the smash hit, "Whatever You Like", and several other popular songs that have flooded the airwaves, Paper Trail saw the highest first week numbers, second only to Lil Wayne's, The Carter III.
The next single is expected to be "Live Your Life" featuring Rihanna.
