Gucci Mane sentenced to 1 year in prison

Sept. 12—Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane (born Radric Davis) was ordered to serve a year in prison for violating his probation. In 2005, Davis was arrested for assault and most recently for driving under the influence.

As a part of his probation, Davis was ordered to serve 600 hours of community service, which averaged approximately 50 hours per month. However, at the time of his arrest, Davis had only served 25 hours over the past three years.
